The Gala Dinner Menu

Dear colleagues, On Saturday night, we have organized the gala dinner of the Conference at the Cafe de la Ópera Restaurant . It will be a singing dinner with the classical zarzuela "La verbena de la Paloma" . Our bus will pick up us by 21:00 at the Hotel. We must be in time, as the allowed stop time is very narrow and take us to the restaurant. The trip will last around 20 minutes. The menu can be seen here,   After finishing the dinner and the spectacle, the bus taking us back to the hotel by depart at 00:30AM We wish  you all enjoy the experience.

Dear Friends, We have planned an exciting visit to the not very well known but still impressive Reina Sofía Museum. It belongs to the Madrid museum mile, which include the Prado and the Thyssen-Bornemisza.  The Reina Sofía is not devoted to the classics like Velazquez, Tintoretto, Greco or Goya, but it accounts for the modern art, including de very famous Picasso 's Guernica, among other exciting works. It is larger than the Thyssen and covering a wider spectrum.

Breaking News for Sept 6th

Dear friends, We want to challenge you after having the dinner on Sept 6th. Let me explain myself, Madrid wouldn't be the city it is without its terrazas (terraces) and cañas (beers) . During the summer, Spaniards love to sit on a terraza and chat for hours drinking some cañas and enjoying the warm breeze. Some areas of Madrid are particularly well known for this exact reason. However, because we are a considerable number of people, some are a little complicated to go to, like Plaza de Santa Ana or Alonso Martínez. Because we felt that it was a necessary activity, we looked for alternatives, and we found one. There is a place on the way back from the Jai Alai restaurant (where our dinner will take place) that can serve us all a drink after dinner on Friday. So, the conference has the pleasure to invite you to the first beer around 10:45PM, then you can stay there until the 01:00AM, when the terrace will close up.
