Update Of Information
Hello to everybody,
Yesterday we finished the inscriptions for the AIM 2019 Conference, and during the next week we'll close the list of activities and the menus of the different restaurants. Taking that into account, now would be the best moment to tell us any food allergies or special needs so we can plan for them. Please, feel free to tell us as soon as you can.
A bus is our
preferred mode of transportation, but we have to keep in mind Madrid
Central, so it won't be possible to use the bus all the time. Because of
this, some of the partners will have to take the subway to a few
activities.
The subway¹ is the most convinient way to
move around Madrid, although the buses² offer a good service as well.
Taxis are also available, with a fixed fare of 30 euros from the Airport
Madrid Barajas to the Hotel Miguel Ángel³.
The price varies for any
other journeys in the city. If you are going to take a taxi, you should
know that not all of them accept payment by credit card, and that
tipping is in no way mandatory. Another option is taking an Uber or
Cabify, and in that case the app is necessary.
We will give
you the detailed program for the days of your stay, along with some
other activities and places of interest we won't be able to see due to
lack of time or capacity issues.
We would love to have a
Whatsapp group with all the partners, to keep in touch during your visit
and to resolve any problems that may come up. Our phone number is +34
693 789 654.
As a last reminder, the weather in Madrid is very
warm. Your visit is in September, still during the summer, so we must
warn you that it will likely be really hot. Also, a comfortable, walking
shoe is recommended.
That's all for now, we will let you know as we get more information.
Can't wait to see you all in Madrid!
